Banana Wax Pepper
The Banana Wax Pepper, or Banana Pepper, is a medium-sized member of the chili pepper family and can be identified by its narrow and long shape. These chiles are creamy-yellow and lightly translucent in color, also resembling a banana. While typically bright yellow, it is possible for them to change to green, red, or orange as they ripen. It has a mild, fruity, and sweet flavor that pairs well in salsas, sauces, or salads. On the Scoville Scale it ranges between 0 and 500 units in heat level.
